I was lucky enough to have a 3 hour class with jack this semester and he was the most respectful and sweetest person, he always had a smile on his face and always knew how to put a smile on everyone around him. i wish i couldve been closer to him but the time i did have with him was amazing,my thoughts are with his friends and family.

I am so glad I was able to be his friend, when I moved up to Pine Mountain I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to have any friends in my neighborhood, yet Jack ended up turning into one of my best friends from 3rd grade all the way through 8th grade after he found out he was moving, from the days we would spend exploring the forest, riding quads around the neighborhood, and playing games online. Even after he moved away we still remained in contact, still managing to enjoy our time together through the internet. We almost never did the same thing, we almost never got bored and never ran out of things to do. I’ll never forget the time when we went skiing on the side of your house until it went dark, just talking and having a good time walking up the hill and skiing back down. He truly was one of my best friends I ever had, I have yet to find another friend just as caring and understanding as him. He had a very big impact on my life and I wish I had more time with him. He always knew how to make my day better, even on the hardest days, he always had my back. Thanks for always being there for me, rest easy.

I am so glad i was able to have english class with jack sophomore year. he was always the sweetest most kind hearted kid to ever walk this earth. i wish i was able to become closer with him but the time we had in class was amazing. he always knew how to light up the room and made that class more enjoyable. my thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family.

I had the honor of being an FBLA officer alongside Jack, he was a selfless, kind human that always radiated the values of a great leader. I remember rooming with him at conferences and he was such a wonderful person to work with the past 3 years. It is sad that we lost him, and I offer my condolences to the Hollingshead family.

I cannot explain in words how amazing Jack was. He was loved by everyone. When I first met him, I was all alone and had no friends. We would ride quads and bikes together. I remember when we would go down and feed the horses. He always knew how to lift spirits and light up a room. I wish I could thank him for all he did for me and all he helped me through. He will be so deeply missed by me and my whole family. I couldn't have been more lucky to have a friend like him just right around the corner. So proud of all the lives he touched.
